Drop Shipping Assurance 

Drop shipping textbooks requires that your school be open during regular business hours in the summer, and that there will be a staff member on site to receive and sign for the books. Books cannot be left outside a school building that is closed. Lost or stolen books must be replaced at the school's expense. 

Additionally, schools must follow the guidance and steps provided in the Textbook Information packet for receiving and processing book orders that are drop shipped directly to the school. The steps include, but not limited to: returning the "packing slip" to the Book Depository, adhering the "property of East Ramapo" sticker to the inside cover of the textbook, and assuring the delivery is complete and reflects the quantity listed on the Purchase Order.

By selecting the "Deliver to my school" option below, you provide assurance that:

• there will be a staff member on site at your school's delivery location during regular business hours in the summer, and that the staff member will sign for and accept the delivery of the books. 

• your school staff will review the delivery of the books to verify accuracy of the order and that the staff will follow the steps listed in the Textbook Information packet to complete the process.
